A versatile organic green tea
An absolutely exquisite Japanese green tea. Our Sencha has a bright, fresh herbaceous flavor, with small hints of seaweed and kale. Depending on the water temperature used, the flavor starts off more mellow and becomes more astringent as you increase the temperature. Unlike Chinese green tea, after harvesting, Japanese Sencha is steamed to stop the oxidation of the leaves, then carefully rolled, shaped and dried. High in catechins and anti-oxidants, green tea is revered as a superfood and healthy beverage alternative. A perfect choice for a daily tea ritual.
